By Road
The Stones are located on an unclassified road along the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire boundary between the A44 and the A3400, north of Chipping Norton and south of Long Compton.

By bus
No bus routes pass by the Stones. Stagecoach Warwickshire (no. 50) runs between Stratford Upon Avon and Chipping Norton and the driver may be willing to stop at the crossroads at the top of Long Compton Hill, half a mile east of the Stones. If not, the nearest stop from which to walk is Long Compton. There are also local taxi services.

By rail
The nearest railway stations are Kingham (c. 7.9km or 4.9 miles as the crow flies) and Moreton-in-Marsh (c. 9.5km or 5.8 miles). Oxford, Banbury and Stratford-upon-Avon are the nearest mainline interchanges and are relatively convenient to link to Stagecoach buses.

On foot
The Rollright Stones are linked into a network of public rights of way and permissive paths. The D’Arcy Dalton Way links Salford, Little Rollright and Great Rollright passing just south of the Whispering Knights and is linked to the Stones by a permissive path. The Shakespeare’s Way passes through Little Rollright and a detour to the Stones is possible from where it crosses the road past the Stones or via the Darcy Dalton Way.
There is limited parking space at the Stones. Please do NOT park there as the base for a longer walk.

By bicycle
The Rollright Stones are not on a recognised part of the Sustrans national cycle route network, but they are easily reached from parts of the network via unclassified roads (see http://www.sustrans.org.uk/map?key=Midlands&type=RG#429948,231028,2). There are a few routes posted on the internet.
