The Stones are open to the public daily all the year round including being available to night-time stargazers. The entry charge is £1 for adults and 50p for children aged 7-16. When there is not a warden on duty, please put your money in the honesty box found by the gate leading to the King’s Men. The Rollright Trust receives no public funding and this is our main source of income to pay for the upkeep of the site.
Individuals, families and small groups do not need to book. Coach parties are charged the same but are requested to book prior to visiting. Please use the Contacts page to email us with your details and booking request.
Please respect the site and other people's enjoyment of it.
- Dogs are allowed on a lead (but not within the Stone Circle please).
- Please heed the warnings on the noticeboard and do not sit or climb on the Stones – you will add to the erosion of the limestone and damage the lichens that are mostly considerably older than you!
- For the sake of maintaining the site's special atmosphere and tranquility and not spoiling the enjoyment of others, we do NOT allow the use of drones except by special permission.
There are ‘modern’ stones in the copse by the King’s Men and on the ridge above the King Stone for picnics and climbing, and benches by the King's Men and the Whispering Knights if you just want a quiet sit-down.
